PewDiePie is a Swedish social media influencer, mostly famous for his videos on YouTube. Today, he lives and works in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Early Life
Felix Kjellberg, a.k.a PewDiePie is born on October 24th, 1989, in Gothenburg, Sweden. He grew up in a family with older brothers, and since childhood, Felix is attracted to video games and computers.
After he graduated from high school, Felix enrolled in the Chalmers University of Technology, where he later graduated in industrial economics and technology management. However, he said that student days were hard for him, because he couldn’t relate to anyone, and didn’t make any friends.
Career
In 2010, Felix made a YouTube channel under the name PewDiePie, and after college, he decided to start a career on YouTube, by creating videos. Many judged him for that decision because YouTube was not seen as a moneymaker, at that time. However, Felix insisted, and he needed the money, as his parents stopped supporting him. While he was making videos, he worked in a hot – dog stand and sold the artwork he owned.
Beginnings of his YouTube channel were mostly centered around games, where Felix did play – by – plays video games. Later, he noticed that his reactions to horror games are the most popular and continued to develop his style.
One of the first videos that went viral, and brought Felix online attention, was his voiceover and narration of Minecraft game. The footage had around 12 million views.

Also, he got suited many times and faced court for being connected with nazi and terrorist organizations. His account on Twitter was banned for a while after he made a joke that he joined ISIS.
Moreover, Felix was one of the first YouTubers who disabled comments on his videos, saying how it was too many trolls and spam, but it didn’t help him to recover from feuds.
Today, he is making a pause from streaming, and after he said goodbye to his fans, he deleted his Twitter account too. It seems like Felix got tired from accusations, and justifying to his fans and public. Also, maybe he wants to dedicate himself more to marriage life and make plans for the future.
Personal Life
Felix met his long term partner, and today’s wife Marzia Bisognin online shortly after his first video went viral. Marzia sent him an email saying how she likes his videos, and they meet and start dating. The couple got married nine years later, in a private ceremony in London, England. The couple lives in relations Sweden – Tokyo – New York, and for now, they don’t think about children.
